I took my puppy here for his first visits in 2011 and they took great care of him. fast forward 13 years, they took good care of him the whole time. he has had most of his care with them except when we lived out of state, and even had a couple surgeries with them. they were there for us last week when we made the painful decision to put our dog out of his pain. Dr Wilder was so kind and compassionate and made the whole awful thing much easier.

My pets have been seen at Berkeley since I was a child. My husband and I are still bringing out cats here. We adore the staff and truly appreciate how committed they are to what they do.

A trip no furbaby parent wishes to make. But our girl Lucy had been not doing good for some time and with a thorough checkup by Dr. Wilder and his staff it was determined she had an inoperable cancerous tumor in her lower jaw which was not going to be good for her moving forwards she was not able to eat and was losing weight at an alarming pace. Dr Wilder and his staff helped our family help Lucy over that Rainbow 🌈 Bridge where she was able to leave us with dignity and we feel confident we made the best choice for her. Thanks to all the staff at Berkeley Veterinary Clinic for your compassionate support in this heartbreaking 💔 moment we had to endure. Thanks again for their heartfelt support. They're great with both my dogs and understanding about my much more feral children.

I can't explain or thank the staff and Dr. Wilder for ALL OF THEIR HELP. He was great with my fur babies. Today his staff and himself went beyond what any other office would have done. When I walked in with my cat that had been attacked ,they got my baby to the back worked on her and made sure they had her stable. Not only with my cat, but Dr. Wilder has been the best with all my babies. My pit I have he has called on the weekends to make sure she was doing good or he had the test back. To everyone that works with BVC THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.

My Doberman had a growth on his eye for quite some time, and we saw Dr. Terry Cheramie for treatment. I couldn’t be happier with the results! After two weeks in a cone, the stitches were removed, and the doctor said everything looks great. His confidence really shines, and I completely agree—he is an excellent doctor! I trust him and his entire team to treat all of my animals in the future (and believe me, I have many!). Thank you from the bottom of my heart; it’s so good to see 'Cricket' (his assigned nickname 😅) happy again. Oh, the dc also clean his teeth, now he has whiter teeth than mine, lol. Great job.

I had an excellent experience bringing my older cat in for a routine checkup. From start to finish, the entire team was wonderful! The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, scheduling was easy, and I was able to get an appointment quickly. When we arrived, there was no wait at all. The staff were kind, patient, and extremely gentle with my cat, helping make the visit as stress-free as possible. They were also warm and engaging with my children, making them feel included and comfortable throughout the appointment. The veterinarian (Dr. Wilder) was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer not only my questions but my children's as well. He explained everything clearly in a way we could all understand and never made us feel rushed. What I appreciated most was that there was absolutely no pressure to pursue additional testing and no guilt or judgment about not having kept up with routine wellness visits in the past (old, happy, healthy house cat). The focus was simply on my cat's current health and well-being. Overall, this was a positive, efficient, and compassionate experience. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality veterinary care, especially for senior pets.
